The latest camera by Kodak is its EasyShare Digital camera. Called the EasyShare Touch M5370 this latest camera has in addition to much of the same features as the original EasyShare Touch, of tagging and sharing photos through social networking sites, a 16 megapixel sensor. This sensor enables the latest camera to capture 720p video.
The latest camera like the earlier EasyShare Touch, sports a 3 inch LCD and has to offer special modes for shooting photographs. There are more than 20 scene modes to which you can adapt the setting. The latest camera also allows the touch screen to be tapped to blur the background or for spot color. Features like face recognition and tagging them up to 5 faces are the new additions. The Kodak EasyShare can share photos on social networking sites through a one touch share button. The camera comes in 4 colors and should be available this fall at $179.95.

Nikon Joins Fight For Mirrorless Digital Camera Market Supremacy

Nikon has long been the market cornerstone for cameras and related paraphernalia. However, there has been one sector of cameras which Nikon had not forayed into yet, the mirrorless digital cameras genre.
But that is on course to change, as Nikon is alleged to be ready with its own lightweight, interchangeable-lens digital cameras and its first product having a mirrorless design. The releases are expected by this year end. Nikon is expected to give price-tags, to the mirrorless cameras (plus lens), of 70,000 to 100,000 yen ($900 to $1,300).
Another leader of the camera world, Canon, a keen Nikon rival, too has begun researching the mechanism and other technologies required to develop a small, lightweight digital camera. Surely, when Nikon comes, can Canon be far behind?
