iPhone Camera Gets the Limelight

The camera of an iPhone is a point of renewed interest as developers come out with accessories that can transform the camera of the phone to a sleek and professional device.
There is a growing market for iPhone accessories and the camera is getting attention from groups like Kogeto, Photojojo, Owle and Zacuto. "Dot" by Kogeto allows the user to use the camera on the iPhone for 360 degree views. Another accessory, the Photojojo DSLR connector allows users to put up lenses from their D-SLR's directly on their iPhone camera. The NPD group has already estimated the iPhone accessories market to cross $500 million by 2011, mostly driven by the 125 million users. The camera accessories are just a part of this huge market.
The Owle Bubo steadicam which retails for $150 fits snugly over the iPhone and thus gives users a firmer grip on the camera, which also gives a stabilized image. The ZoomIt Memory Card Connector is also a great way to increase the available memory space on the device.
