Courtrooms In England And Wales To Have Cameras Soon

It is a tricky point, that of weather to have cameras in courtrooms or not. Like every technological equipment, this move of having cameras has both the points, of boon and bane. Having said that, this time around, the first impression seems that the usage of camers is a move for the better.
Justice Secretary Kenneth Clarke was the one to make the disclosure tht for the first time ever cameras will record and also transmit in-court ongoings. However, the cameras shall be used only for showing the judgement delivery summaries, and not victims, witnesses, defendants or juries.
Apprehensions that the broadcast by the cameras will turn courtroom drama into a reality TV show were not strong enough to keep the 85-year old ban on cameras inside courtrooms to be in force any longer.
